Permits and licences
An environmental permit is a condition for starting and operating any activity, and a MWAN licence for any activity in the waste chain. We handle the file from classification to issue, and remind you before renewal.

What we deliver in this track.
Environmental permits, issued and renewed
We prepare the construction or operating permit file according to your activity's category, submit it through the permits and licences platform of the National Center for Environmental Compliance, and follow it until it is issued. Then we remind you well before renewal is due.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about this track.
How long is an environmental permit valid?
The construction permit is valid for three years, and the Center sets the operating permit's term between three and six years.
Do I need a new permit if I expand my facility?
Yes. Any change in the activity's type or size needs a new permit.
Does my facility need a MWAN licence?
If you collect, transport, sort, store, treat or recycle waste, you need a licence from MWAN. If you only produce waste, you must hand it to a licensed service provider.
When do I renew a MWAN licence?
File the renewal at least one month before the licence expires. A late reply does not mean approval.
