Factories
A factory's environmental obligations do not end when the permit is issued: emissions are measured, waste goes only to licensed providers, and the permit is renewed on time.
What you usually need
The core requirements from the official regulations.
A construction permit before building or expanding
Required before any construction work or change in the activity. Your category decides the study: an environmental management plan or an environmental impact assessment.

A factory may not operate without an operating permit. The Center sets its term between three and six years, and any change in the activity's type or size needs a new permit.

The Air Quality Regulation prohibits exceeding emission limits from stationary sources and requires routine maintenance of equipment and pollution-control systems.

Sources listed in the regulation install continuous emission monitoring; other sources carry out annual measurements on all stacks. Results for major sources go to the Center within 40 working days.
